I'm not claiming to be the worlds greenest person but I think every little helps and this tip sure does save on cleaning up. Milk cartons used for paint pots, there easy as that. Come on you lazy lot :)
Well I was sad to see my #foreign students leave me the other week but they were kind enough to get me a small but thoughtful gift. Here is a stunning puzzle uncut for display in the theme of shabby chic. It displays a beautiful #cottage with trees, #blossom and #flowers, so #shabbychic and so #cute :)
Run out of ideas or time? If you want to give a really thoughtful gift this valentines day why not buy your loved one a voucher for a workshop of their choice? Buy Voucher here! #valentinesday #iloveyou #bemine
Oh my 26 people today in our course and so pleased with the outcome although a little overwhelming at first, we all got cracking and some lovely finished pieces were created. please see our gallery shortly for before and afters photos. We have now added extra workshops to our repertoire, please see our workshops page.
My latest interest is folk art roses and I've been having a go, (photos to follow). Found this hand painted folk art rose watercolour £1 bargain out side my local charity shop. I will redo the frame and post pictures when finished.
Came across this the other day. What a clever yet simple idea. If your like me and like to keep things as clean as possible this is a neat trick. no more stuck paint lids :) #rubberband #chalkpaint #paintedfurniture #crafttip #adultlearning #

OK so my blog is a little over due, but its been manic.... now I'm back from Thailand after a short visit to see family in Rome and I can finally start the new year. Rome was beautiful as always but a little understated unlike the British which go all out and perhaps sometimes a little OTT. Shabby Chic in Thailand however is non existent from what I have seen and will remain I feel more Shabby than chic but in a good way. I have added a beautiful basket from Koh Chang in Thailand, which has been decorated using the decoupage method (which we will be doing a course on, workshop 2) lovely example (probably imported). Just a quick note, our first 2 courses this year are fully booked with over 20 people in each class, our promotion will be only be running up until the end of Jan when it will go back to its original price so book fast. We have some space left in our February workshops. Enjoy !!!
